Lounge, Kitchen/Dining Room, En-Suite Master Bedroom, Three Further Bedrooms & Main Bathroom.
The Beach House sits in an enviable location, lying immediately adjacent to the shore on the bay at Camustianavaig. Accessible by vehicle via a track across the shore, the property is tucked away in its own quiet location. When the tide is in access can be made to the property on foot via a path at the top of the beach. What better than to sit in your own front room and watch the local wildlife on the shore in front of you. Seals and otters frequent the bay and on occasion dolphins or porpoises may be seen. Ideal for anyone who loves the outdoor life, it is possible to launch your Kayak pretty much from your garden gate and Bentianavaig, the hill that rises up behind the township, provides a lovely walk with stunning views from its top. It is also home to a couple of Sea Eagles, who can occasionally be seen high above the hill
The crofting township of Camustianavaig is located in the popular and sought after area of Braes situated approximately 5 miles from Portree, the principal town on the island.
Portree offers a wide range of facilities including shops, hotels, restaurants, sports facilities, doctors, dentists and veterinary clinics, banks, library and small cinema located within the Aros Heritage Centre. Both primary and secondary education is available and a bus service operates from Braes to both the schools.
Camustianavaig lies at the foot of Ben Tianavaig, a hill extending to 413m which is popular with walkers. A pair of Sea Eagles can occasionally be spotted soaring over the hill.
From the top of the hill there are panoramic views across the islands of Raasay and Rona towards the mainland, down towards the Cuillins and across Portree, north and westwards towards the hills of Harris and Lewis in the distance. Camustianavaig is formed around a natural bay which is where seals, otters and a wide variety of sea birds can be spotted. Dolphins and Porpoises are also occasional visitors to the bay.
