The crofting township of Locheynort is located in the centre of the Isle of South Uist and at the foot of Beinn Mhor.
Locheynort is just a mile to the east of the main A865 yet within easy reach of the glorious sandy beaches on the west coast of the island.
Lochboisdale is the main population centre on South Uist and just 8 miles from the property. Lochboisdale is also the port for ferries running to Oban, Barra and Mallaig.
